this is too awesome to not post up. party people put on your dancing shoes cause tonight Palate Palette's Secret Drama Party will be documented by BAFTA-winning filmmakers. I have no idea why but this is the low-down according to an email KLue Magazine received:
"Something super-duper-wonderful is going down at Palate Palette thisTuesday 12th May starting 8pm and we insist you be a part of it. A team of BAFTA-winning filmmakers from the UK are making an urban, sc-fi, drama about KL and all its cool, street-smart crowds. They zoom in on Palate Palette as one of KL's cultural hubs, and want to keep it real by filming all you crazy party mammals who make Palate Palette so hot and yet so cool.
Joey G and Bobo from CosmicSpaceMunkys will be playing some off-the-meter tunes and we'll all be some kind of raving on the dancefloor. Lights, Camera, Action to the climax of a massive, sweaty, electro, bass filled everything. The Palate Palette Upstairs is the set of a scene documenting world-class Kuala Lumpur hipsterism. This is one of the few instances in life where we encourage you to GET IN HARD, and GET IN EARLY. We hit that round red (also known as "REC") button starting 8pm.
Freeflow for the early birdies and buddies to facilitate those double-jointed grooves. Serial latecomers take note: we wrap at 2am (so don't later EMO about the missed opportunity at recorded celebriticity). Let's REPRESENT KL in all our weird and wonderful party personas. Your superstar-self will be required to sign standard release forms allowing the production to use your image, but thats the only serious bit about the nite. The project is still shrouded in secrecy but the participants will be given an inside look into the project and will be invited to the launch party when this hits Malaysia later in the year!"
